Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 23, 2026

Howard Financial Services respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain English, what we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short on purpose — if anything here is unclear, call Aaron at (515) 203-2015 and ask.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us. That falls into two buckets:

Information you give us directly. When you fill out a form, request a consultation, or send a message, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you write in the message itself. If you tell us about your situation — your goals, your timeline, your finances — we collect that too, because it is the only way to give you useful guidance.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours may log basic technical details — your browser type, your device, the pages you view, and the general region you visit from. This helps us keep the site working and understand what is useful. We do not use this to build a personal profile of you.

How we use it

We use your information to do four things, and nothing more:

  • Respond to you and schedule a conversation.
  • Provide the guidance and services you asked about.
  • Keep our records accurate and our site running.
  • Send you the texts or emails you agreed to receive.

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers. Full stop.

When we share it

We share your information only when we have to:

  • With trusted service providers who help us operate — for example, our scheduling tool, email host, or form provider — and only so they can do that job for us.
  • When the law requires it, or to protect against fraud or harm.

Any provider who touches your information is expected to protect it and use it only for the work we hired them to do.

Text messaging — your consent and how to stop

If you give us your mobile number and check the consent box on a form, you agree to receive text messages from Howard Financial Services related to your inquiry, your appointments, and our services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You are in control:

  • To stop texts, reply STOP at any time. We will confirm and you will receive no further messages.
  • For help, reply HELP, or call us at (515) 203-2015.

Consenting to texts is never a condition of doing business with us. Your mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable safeguards to keep your information secure. No website can promise perfect security, so we ask you not to send sensitive details — account numbers, Social Security numbers, or the like — through web forms or text. When the time comes to share those, we will give you a secure way to do it.

Cookies

This site may use cookies and similar tools to remember your preferences and understand traffic. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings; some parts of the site may work less smoothly if you do.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or call, and we will take care of it. You can also opt out of texts (reply STOP) or emails (use the unsubscribe link) whenever you like.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top. Material changes will be posted here.

Disclosures

A few things we want to be clear about — not because the lawyers said so, but because clarity is the whole point.

This site is information, not advice

Everything on this website is for general educational and informational purposes. It is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy or sell any product or security. Your situation is your own. Before you act on anything you read here, talk with Aaron — or with a qualified tax or legal professional — about what actually fits your life.

No guarantees

We will be straight with you: no one can guarantee a financial outcome, and we won’t pretend otherwise. All investments carry risk, including the possible loss of principal. Past performance does not predict future results. Any figures, projections, or examples on this site are illustrations — not promises of return or performance.

Independent and unbiased

Howard Financial Services is an independent practice. We are not tied to any single company or product line, and our guidance is based on what is right for you. Insurance and investment products, where offered, may involve commissions or fees, which we will always disclose to you directly. Licensing varies by state; products and services are offered only where Howard Financial Services and its representatives are properly licensed.

Not affiliated with any government agency

Howard Financial Services is a private company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Social Security Administration, Medicare, or any other federal or state government agency. Any reference to government programs is for educational context only.

Veteran-owned

Howard Financial Services is veteran-owned and independent. That is a statement about who we are — not a claim of government affiliation, endorsement, or benefit.

Insurance versus financial services

Howard Financial Services is a separate brand from Howard Insurance Agency. Insurance products and services described elsewhere belong to that agency. This site concerns financial planning and related services.

Third-party links

This site may link to other websites for your convenience. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices.
